Rio Tinto 2018 Mainstream Apprenticeship Programmeeyecue
Rio Tinto’s competitive apprenticeship programme provides an opportunity to gain on-the-job experience at our world class operations, while working towards a nationally recognised qualification.
Our mining operations all work on continuous shift rosters, therefore the successful applicant will need to demonstrate an understanding of what this entails and be willing to work under these conditions. A sound understanding of Year 12 Mathematics would be an advantage; also a pre-apprenticeship or Cert II qualification in a trade related area would be looked upon favourably, but it is not a pre- requisite.
- You must be a minimum of 18 years of age for our fly in fly out opportunities and 17 for our residential roles
- You must hold a current ‘c’ class manual driver’s license with a minimum of Red ‘p’ plates (byJanuary 15, 2018)
- You must have knowledge of the trade you are applying for and understand the job requirements
If you have difficulties with the application process please contact our Aboriginal Employment team at: email@example.com, or on: 08 6213 9333.
